Homegroups meet in people’s homes, usually in the evenings (but not exclusively) during the week and have one or two leaders who are responsible for the group. Most of our homegroups meet every other week in and around Taunton and they provide an atmosphere of love and acceptance while encouraging and developing friendships. They provide a place of security and healing as people share their lives on a regular basis. The people in the homegroup worship Jesus together and spend time in God’s presence and seek to care for each other’s spiritual, physical and emotional needs as well as having fun together.
Being part of a homegroup is a great way to get to know others in the church. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and there is an environment of giving and receiving. In many ways homegroups are the heart of the church.
